Las Vegas

Taken in front of Jimmy Buffet Margueritaville (pretty sure I spelled that wrong)

We went to the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris.
Supposed to be 1/2 size of the real Eiffel Tower

Taken in front of the boat we cruised Lake Mead on

Hoover Dam

The gardens at the Flamingo Hotel
We had a lot of fun at Vegas. Went on a night light tour. Saw the fountains at the Bellagio, the volcano at I think it was the Mirage, and a fabulous light show on Fremont street. We also went out to the original Las Vegas sign. The next day we went on a tour of Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. The new road they are building at Hoover Dam is really something, and so is the dam itself. The next night we had tickets for Donny and Marie, but they cancelled their shows for another week. I was totally devastated. We didn't even know they had cancelled until we went down for the show. Didn't even have time to try to make another show somewhere else. I think it would have been a great show, but that's the way it goes I guess. We heard she decided she needed to spend more time with her family and she just wasn't ready to go back to performing after her son's death (even though they did their show the week before we were there). We also met my brother Wayne one afternoon and had lunch and
just visited and did some walking around and a little gambling. Other than that we just walked up and down the strip and saw the sights and took in some free shows here and there. The temperture was 80 degrees every day we were there. Kind of hard to come home to 30. All in all it was a fun vacation and a nice break
